El Segundo, CA (April 27, 2022) – An injury crash happened on a freeway in El Segundo in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 23. According to reports, the wreck happened at approximately 1:13 a.m.
Sources said the incident occurred when a 2015 Toyota Camry was traveling in the number one lane headed east. She collided with a black 2017 Toyota Prius after drifting into the westbound lanes for unknown reasons.
The driver of the Prius, identified as a man from Manhattan, age 35, sustained major injuries and was taken to Harbor UCLA Medical Center for treatment. Currently, police continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
A large portion of the freeway was closed while police and paramedics worked to clear the scene. No further information has been reported concerning the circumstances of the incident.
