Fullerton, CA (March 30, 2022) – A man lost his life after he was hit by a car on a roadway in Fullerton. The incident occurred at about 5:15 a.m., according to reports. 

Sources say the auto-pedestrian accident happened on Chapman Avenue near Annin Avenue. A male pedestrian was crossing the southbound lanes of Chapman Avenue while the vehicle was headed west on Chapman.

The pedestrian lost his life at the crash scene despite life-saving efforts made by paramedics. The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. 

Chapman Avenue was closed between Harrington Drive and Victoria Drive while crews worked to clear the scene. No further information has been released at this time. 

The incident remains under local law enforcement investigation.
