Bell, CA – Jose Gutierrez Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on 710 Freeway near Florence Ave
Bell, CA (March 7, 2022) – Police identified Jose Gutierrez as the victim of a fatal traffic accident that happened on the afternoon of March 7 in Bell.
At approximately 2:10 p.m., Gutierrez, a 35-year-old motorcyclist, was involved in a wreck that ended up taking his life. It happened in the southbound lanes of the 710 Freeway near Florence Avenue. There were three vehicles in the crash, according to reports.
What led to the collision is still being investigated by police at this time.
Gutierrez suffered blunt force trauma after being struck by one of the vehicles involved. He was riding a motorcycle at the time of the crash and authorities have not reported on whether or not he was wearing a helmet. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Traffic was delayed in the area while emergency personnel worked to secure the site of the wreck.
