Huntington Park, CA – Multi-Vehicle Accident Ends in Injuries on Florence Ave near S Alameda St
Huntington Park, CA (February 11, 2022) – One person was injured after they were involved in a multi-vehicle accident late on Thursday, February 10. The wreck was reported to officials in Huntington Park, Los Angeles around 11:56 p.m.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the intersection of Florence Avenue and South Alameda Street just before midnight for a three-vehicle accident with one person trapped. When they arrived on-site, they began extricating a female who was trapped inside a vehicle that had overturned in the middle of the intersection.
Officers with the California Highway Patrol also responded to the scene along with Huntington Park Police. The patient was freed approximately 25 minutes after the extrication process began.
One person was detained at the crash site by Huntington Park Police pending the investigation of the wreck. At this time, it remains unclear whether intoxication was a contributing factor in the collision.
Authorities in Huntington Park continue to investigate the details of the incident. No further information is available at this time.
